Programs and Scholarships
Our 2025-2026 Priorities
The 2025-2026 priorities, defined by the Cegep in collaboration with the Foundation, address the needs of students. The growing needs regarding food insecurity and emergency funds have increased the donation targets.
A new priority has been defined for psychoeducational assessments.

Our Programs and Scholarships
This program enables the purchase of sports equipment to encourage physical activity within the Cegep Physical activity is considered essential for the mental health and motivation of young people.
This program is for students with very low incomes who require a psychoeducational assessment to adapt their schooling to their needs.
Without this psychoeducational assessment, these vulnerable students risk not completing their studies due to a lack of appropriate accommodations.
For example, this program can help detect a severe attention disorder, which then leads the Cegep to adapt examination conditions or offer a specific environment according to Ministry standards. (e.g., extending examination time, placing the student in specific areas…)
The Transportation Support Program is intended for vulnerable students by financing transportation related to their education.
For example:
- it can finance their subscription to the Société des transports de l’Outaouais,
- or the parking of nurses on internship at the Gatineau Hospital.
This program provides food insecure students with
- breakfasts,
- a community fridge,
- discount coupons for the cafeteria or grocery store, etc.
Unfortunately, food insecurity has been on the rise since the pandemic.
The Emergency Fund is an immediate support program for students in crisis. It allows the student to meet his or her immediate basic needs and thus prevents school dropout. For example, this fund will
- help students who leave their homes following situations of violence,
- or students in rural areas who are unable to get to the Cégep following the loss of their means of transportation.
This aid is one-off and linked to emergency situations, and aims to prevent these crisis situations from causing the student to stop his or her studies.
This scholarship program rewards students who have succeeded in their college career despite the hardships and difficulties they have faced. This recognition encourages them to continue their professional or academic career and is a pillar of recognition and builds their self-esteem.
Testimonials
